A blog a day..Project 365:1-6

I was recently asked if I was ever going to blog again and to be honest, I didn't think I ever would. But, then I thought, why not?! A friend via Facebook, participated in Project 365 last year (I don't even know if that's a "real" thing or if she made it up), which sounds fun gave me more inspiration to get back to this blogging thing. So, call me crazy, but I'm going to attempt to blog every single day this year! Don't get too upset if I slack a little, but honestly, I'm going to try my best. I think it will be so fun to look back next Dec. 31 and see all that's happened in 2014!

Now, quit laughing...because I know what you're saying...it's already January 6 and I haven't blogged at all this year! Don't worry, I'm going to go back and catch up for the past 6 days. :)

So, here we go!

Jan. 1 - HAPPY NEW YEAR! We celebrated NYE with the Gieres/Johaniks and had a blast playing games, eating yummy food and watching the ol' ball drop in NYC at 11pm Central (I love that we get to ring in the new year at 11 and head to bed!).

New Year's Day was spent recovering from the late night before...movie watching, football watching, lego building, nap taking...it was fabulous!

January 2
It was time to get out of the house! Because, when you let 2 yr olds play the iPad and then take it away...

...this is what happens! We've created little techy monsters!

So, after a day at home, I took the 3 oldest to a local roller rink for their Christian Music Night skate. We met some friends and had a great time!

January 3

Another fun day at home...these two cuties snackin'.

January 4
"Pinterest Baby!!" Whenever I find a recipe, project, craft, etc. on Pinterest that I try and have success with, that's my phrase, "Pinterest Baby!"
So, be ready to hear that a lot...b/c I have a few projects on my to-do list for 2014. :)

#1 - organize wrapping paper using IKEA plastic bag holders...

January 5
As the temperature started to get lower and lower and lower here in IL, the static in the air got higher and higher. Ellie's hair was all over the place!

January 6
B O Y S...not the first broken object in our home and certainly not the last. :)

Oh and it's REALLY cold here! 1st day of extended break from school, with -45 degree wind chills outside = a day at home and getting creative! So, we jumped on board and made Snow Ice Cream! Pinterest Baby!

So, here we go...I'm caught up and am ready for the next 359 days to come!
God Bless you on at the start of this new year!
