Here's a recap of the past few days...oh so thrilling, let me tell you!
Much of Saturday was spent designing and decorating this years' AWANA Grand Prix cars for the big race Sunday. Sam wanted to make his a tiger...aren't you proud, Michiganders??!!
Ellie was a little less "in to it" as the boys (Daddy included!)
and with some prodding, decided on a rainbow theme. :)
Sunday was the day of the big race! And, as much as we thought these two cars would certainly win a design award, they didn't. :) BUT, the kids had a great time watching the races and at least our cars came in 1st or 2nd in most heats! (although neither one for speed, either :)
After the race, it was time for a quick bath and hair-do craziness...these 2 need haircuts, but until then, we'll have fun spiking their long locks and laughing with them! (not at them!)
Monday night appetizer...broccoli.
Makes Daddy (and Mommy) proud! :)
