Sam's Vocab

Taking a break from the CA pics, I thought I'd share with you Sam's vocab right now. Just the past few weeks he's really started "talking" more and although we don't understand everything, it's fun to watch him try to formulate words.

Mama = Mommy
Daddy = Daddy
Elya = Hannah
Elye = Ellie
Dabby = Gabby
Papa = Papa
Pawpa = Grandma
Baw = Ball
Choo Choo = choo choo train (and the word he uses when he sees a semi-truck on the road!)
Ow = Out or Ow :O)
Si-e = outside (we've been hearing that one a lot these past few beautiful, spring days!)
wayer = water
ma = milk
cukey = cookie (amazing how they learn that one so quickly!)
da-yey = doggy
Appu = apple
chee = cheese
mo = more
sa-ye = sorry (another frequently heard word from that boy!)
tickey = sticky
no = nose and naturally, "no" ;o)
mouw = mouth
faffle = waffle
ha = hot
ca = cold


I'm sure the list could go on, but I'm drawing a blank... All of this to say, our almost 2 year old is talking and we love it! Now, if only potty training some day comes as easily for him! There's hope! ;O)
