All about Ellie!

We had a wonderful day celebrating Ellie's day of birth! It's amazing to think that 3 years has gone by since that crazy, FAST early morning when Ellie entered the world! Ellie is such a sweet, little girl. She LOVES her babies, loves to snack and loves to smother her little brother. She's not so fond of her food being cut up in too big of pieces (many of you have witnessed the gag reflex...lovely!), not too fond of her big sister picking on her (she better get used to that) and not too fond of having her toe nails clipped. :O) She's great at giving smooches, great at making silly faces and great at loving us with all her heart. AND WE LOVE HER!

We celebrated today with a special trip to the Children's Museum after H got out of school and then had a memorable dinner at the cutest little restaurant in Glen Ellyn called 2Toots. Seriously, this place is cute! As you can imagine by the name, the theme of this little diner is trains...trains, trains, trains and the best part is that your food is actually delivered to you by, you guessed it, a toy train! Here's the sweetest video of the birthday song they play as a special cupcake gets delivered right in front of the birthday girl! You can see by the look on Ellie's face that she is in awe, a bit nervous and really excited to see a cupcake...all at the same time! Too fun!
