Hannah's Big Day

Well, the day I was kind-of, sort-of dreading, came and went last week...Hannah started Kindergarten! She was looking forward to her big day more than anyone. In fact, we had to create a "count-down" calendar in anticipation of her first day.

Brian, Ellie, Sam and I escorted Hannah to school that day. She was so cute...looking both pleased and anxious about what was to come. (kind of like me, I guess) Our goodbye was rather anticlimactic as she waved and walked inside her room with the other children. I, on the other hand, hid a few tears under my sunglasses. Of course, 3 hours later when her bus dropped her off, I realized that this kindergarten thing was going to be okay...she was going to be okay. She is protected by the Ultimate Caregiver and He will look after her, as he always does and I have faith in that....thank goodness.

Special breakfast for the special girl! (and her sister!)

Before school shots...

Arrival!

Lining up before heading in...yes, she is VERY tall for her age!!!

Home on the bus...fun times!

So happy to see Daddy!

And Ellie...

And Mommy...

And more Daddy! :O)
