Melts a tennis mom's heart...

Hannah started tennis lessons on Monday and I couldn't be more proud! Okay, I know it's not that big of a deal, but well, it kind of was for me. And honestly, it was almost a little strange. For 33 years I've been the one on the court, with the cheering section watching from behind the glass windows (or bleachers most of the time) and now, I was the one with the camera out (notably the ONLY parent with a camera there!) watching my little girl hit the court! I have to be honest, I was a little jealous! But you know what? I couldn't believe the thrilling feeling that welled up inside as she swung the racket for the first time and whacked the ball (into the net, but that's okay)....I'll never forget it! She's going to be a star! (Brian and I are already making plans to move to Boca Raton, FL to enroll her in a tennis academy there!)

I took the picture below through the glass window, thus the woman's reflection...sorry, I just HAD to get a shot of H on the court! And NO, she did not stand still for one second of her 1/2 hour lesson! :O)

After the 1/2 hour was up, I asked her how she liked it. She said she had fun, but it was too short. AHHH, this girl can't get enough of tennis and she's only 5...I LOVE IT!

That is awesome!!! Hannah looks like a pro already! I bet she's excited to be playing a sport where she gets to bounce AND wear a skirt!!! It's good to see she's already practicing victory dances and poses, I especially like the second pose in the series of three individual pictures. I can just hear a "Ta-Da!" coming from her as she jumps around! Keep us posted on how she's doing!

These are great shots of Hannah--I'm sure her Gma Marge is proud too! We'd love to come watch a lesson sometime!
